Voices for the Unheard: Christian Initiative

Because every voice deserves to be heard.

Founded in Loving Memory

Voices for the Unheard: Christian Initiative was founded in memory of Robert “Christian” Paige.

Christian was known for his kindness, humor, loyalty, and unwavering willingness to help others. In just twenty-one years, he left a lasting impact on hundreds of people through his friendships, service, and genuine compassion. He believed in standing up for others, offering support when it was needed most, and treating people with dignity and respect.

Christian had a passion for life and the people around him. If you loved something, chances are he found a way to love it too. He enjoyed longboarding, video games, music, ballroom dancing, working out, and countless other hobbies. Christian had a gift for connecting with others through their interests, making people feel seen, valued, and important. He dreamed of becoming a gunsmith, serving others, and one day building a family of his own.

After Christian’s death, his family found themselves navigating a difficult and often overwhelming search for answers. Through that experience, they discovered how many individuals and families feel unheard, unsupported, or lost when facing tragedy, victimization, or unanswered questions.

Voices for the Unheard was created to honor Christian’s legacy by helping others find resources, support, advocacy, and hope during some of life’s most difficult moments.

His voice may be gone, but his impact continues through every person this organization serves.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide advocacy, support, resources, and investigative guidance to victims and families affected by violent crime. Having experienced firsthand the challenges that often follow tragedy, we are dedicated to helping those left in its wake find answers, support, accountability, and hope.

We believe that every victim matters, every family deserves to be heard, and no one should have to walk this journey alone.

Christian’s Legacy

Christian believed in helping others, standing up for what was right, and treating people with kindness. He found joy in serving those around him and had a unique ability to make people feel valued and included.

One of Christian’s favorite passages of scripture was the story of the Stripling Warriors in the Book of Mormon. He admired their courage, faith, and commitment to doing what was right, even in the face of overwhelming challenges. He was especially moved by the scripture that teaches that they “did not doubt their mothers knew it.”

Christian’s life reflected many of the values he admired: faith, loyalty, service, courage, and love for others. Though his time here was far too short, his influence continues through the lives he touched and through the mission of Voices for the Unheard.

We hope to honor his legacy by serving others with the same compassion, determination, and love that he showed throughout his life.

“And they rehearsed unto me the words of their mothers, saying: We do not doubt our mothers knew it.”
